Ilene Papert
Director of Children’s Aid Goodhue Center
She has established after school programs for children, teen and camp programs at the center and neighboring schools. She worked closely with city agencies and environmental groups to save the Goodhue property for parks.
FOOD DONATIONS
Please bring non-perishable food to the November meeting for distribution to 2 food pantries: Good Counsel Food Pantry on the North Shore and St. Edwards Food Pantry on the South Shore and 2 families in need.

JEWELRY
Now is the time to be thinking about Christmas gifts. Cathy Muraca of Touchstone Crystals will, again, be at our November meeting with a selection of jewelry.
DISTRIBUTION OF FOOD
This year on Saturday, November 17th, at 7:30 a.m., we are joining with the South Shore Rotary in delivering food boxes (baskets) to needy families on Staten Island. If you would like to join us, please e-mail Rosemarie Dressler at rdcommunc@aol.com so that she can add you to the list.
We will be meeting at the Staten Island Advance plant at 950 Fingerboard Road at the loading dock in the back of the building.
