Volunteers needed for the Operation Backpack Program supported by the 123 Precinct Community Council in Tottenville.

1. Friday, August 18th at 6:00 PM they will be sorting and filling the backpacks at Messiah Lutheran Church, 205 Jefferson Boulevard – 10312
2. Saturday, August 19th – 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM they will be distributing the backpacks from Messiah Lutheran Church.
3. If you cannot attend, but would like to donate a backpack and/or the contents, please contact Elaine Croteau at 718-698-6056 or Ebcroteau@aol.com

Donations needed: Unopened backpacks, #2 Pencils, colored pencils, pencil boxes, erasers. highlighters, looseleaf notebook paper, glue, pocket folders, comp;position books, 24 count crayon boxes, spiral notebooks, 3-ring binders, rulers, protractors, child-safety scissors, 3×5 index cards, basic function calculators and blue, black and red pens.
