President’s letter
Dear Members,
Greeting to all!
This year’s initiative, Career Day, was held at St. John’s University. This project was a huge success. Rosemarie Dressler spearheaded the event.
This past Saturday we had our Legacy Tea marking 100 years of women’s right to vote. To celebrate this landmark, and to honor women in history, our chapter invited all women’s organizations on Staten Island to participate in an event to celebrate the “Legacy of Women.” More than 70 women attended.
Our chapter’s premier annual event/fundraiser, our Women of Distinction Luncheon, is coming up quickly, on Sunday, April 8th. We have an amazing group of honorees this year.
This is a huge project and we need everyone to help in whatever way you can. Remember, this event brings in much of the funding that allows us to help others throughout the year, and our team needs your support.
Please remember that you as a member make the chapter. Your talent and involvement increases the impact of our chapter.
Thank you,
Christine Olivieri Donahue
President
