At our meeting we collected 4 large boxes of food for the pantries at Good Counsel and St. Edwards. We also provided 4 shopping bags of food for women in need.

We also enjoyed a talk by Ilene Papart of Childen’s Aid Society of Goodhue Center about the different programs that they offer for the children of Staten Island. She also gave us a card that was made by the children in the PreK program to whom we gave backpacks.

Vendors selling handbags, shawls, gloves, Elf on a Shelf and jewelry. All of these items made it easy to start our Christmas shopping.
