In this busy month of November
Civic events come first
Of these we are well versed
Election Day – our leaders are selected Veterans’ Day – our heroes’ sacrifices recollected
A week to work on preparation
For our wonderful Thanksgiving celebration Sharing with loved ones sustenance and conversation A day meant for family and relaxation
And giving heartfelt thanks for all our blessings!
